Bennington is a member of the Contoocook Valley school district along with neighboring towns of Antrim, Sharon, Dublin, Francestown, Greenfeild, Hancock, Peterborough, and Temple.
Grades 9-12: High school level students attend ConVal Regional High School in Peterborough.
Grades 5-8: Middle school students attend the Great Brooks Middle School in Antrim.
Grades K-4: The Peirce Elementary School is Bennington’s only in-town school.
