Milford is part of its own school district, though it also partially serves the town of Mason.
Grades 9-12: Milford High School serves all Milford students, along with students from the neighboring town of Mason.
Grades 6-8: Milford and Mason students both attend Milford Middle School, in the town of Milford.
Grades 2-5: The grade school program in Milford is divided between two elementary schools. Heron Pond Elementary School works with students in grades 2-5.
Grades K-1: Jacques Memorial Elementary School is the other half of the grade school program in Milford, providing kindergarten and first grade programs.
Private Schools: Milford has a wide variety of private elementary school, preschool, and child care options. Preschool/day care institutions include; the Early Learning Center of Milford, Souhegan Valley Christian Kindergarten, Moppets Nursery School and Kindergarten, Children’s Choice Early Learning Center, Little Arrows Child Care, and Sheryl’s Little Angels. Private elementary schools in Milford include the Milford Christian Academy and Colonel Shepard Montessori School. The Milford Christian Academy also provides a private high school program.
