Downtown Peterborough Architecture Walk
The Monadnock Center for History and Culture will host a downtown Peterborough walking tour on Saturday, October 17 at 10 a.m. The tour is free and open to the public. The tour will examine the various architectural styles found on Grove, Main, School and Depot Streets and the historical evolution of the town’s commercial center. The walk begins at the Monadnock Center at 19 Grove St.
The walk is an informal and interactive conversation with participants encouraged to ask questions and share their own knowledge of the people and places that have created the town’s commercial center.
The walking tour is held rain or shine and takes approximately 1 ½ hours. The tour has been generously sponsored by The Petersons, Inc.
