Vienna to Mobius
Saturday October 10 at 7:30 pm, First Church in Jaffrey
Our fall foliage concert begins in Vienna with chamber music by Joseph Haydn & Johannes Brahms. Then at intermission there is a dramatic shift as the four-member Mobius Percussion takes the stage to present “Paper Melodies,” a new piece by Jason Treuting. Spend an evening devoted to the ever-expanding art of music in the company of superb artists.
Haydn’s Piano Trio in D major Hob. XV: 16 and Brahms’s C minor Piano Quartet Op. 60 will be performed by Emilie-Anne Gendron, violin, Käthe Jarka, cello, Marija Stroke, piano, with Artistic Directors Laura Gilbert, flute & Jonathan Bagg, viola.
