Mariposa’s 5th Annual Geography Challenge Returns Nov. 14th

Peterborough, N.H. — On Saturday, November 14th, teams will again fill the stage at the Peterborough Town House to compete for fun and prizes in the Mariposa Museum’s 5th Annual Geography Challenge. The annual community event also offers plenty of opportunities for audience members to test their knowledge of world geography. Teams must register with the Mariposa in advance. Admission is free to the event, which gets under way at 1:30 p.m. at the Peterborough Town House on Grove Street in Peterborough, N.H.
The Geo Challenge and baked goods and refreshment sale is a fundraiser for the Mariposa Museum, which works to foster peace, global awareness, and understanding across cultural boundaries, through exhibits, programs and performances, and educational partnerships across New Hampshire and parts of Vermont and Massachusetts.
The Mariposa is located at 26 Main Street in Peterborough, N.H., and is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Mariposa is wheelchair accessible.
