New Hampshire Institute of Art Announces Rabbit Hole Exhibition in Peterborough, NH

Peterborough, NH (October 29, 2015) – New Hampshire Institute of Art (NHIA) is pleased to announce the launch of The Rabbit Hole Exhibition, focused on works that challenge and comment on perception through video, mixed media, GIFS and painting, attheir Sharon Arts Center Campus in Peterborough, NH. The exhibit is presented in conjunction with Launch F18 and BitForms Gallery in NYC.

 

Curated by Tim Donovan (NHIA Alumni and Co-Director of Launch F18, NYC), the exhibition borrows from Lewis’s metaphor from Alice in Wonderland, taking the viewer into lands that are unfamiliar yet familiar. Established artists such as Ann Hamilton, Jessica Stockholder and Tony Oursler join emerging and local artists in this collective production, which will entice, question and provoke.

The opening reception is November 6, 2015, 5-7pm. The exhibit is free and open to the public and runs November 6 – December 26, 2015. Gallery Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10am – 6pm; Sunday,11am – 5pm.
