Maple Sugaring Season in the Monadnock Region
The beginning of February marks the start of one of the best seasons in New Hampshire: maple sugaring season. New Hampshire alone makes about 90,000 gallons of maple syrup each year. To put that in perspective, approximately 40 gallons of sap is required to make one gallon of finished syrup. If you’ve never tasted New Hampshire maple
